About Our Founding
Cate’s Sew Modern was founded in 2016 to create community among makers whose love of sewing has been sparked by the drive to create for ourselves. What will you make today? Whether you’re an adventurous newbie who has yet to touch a sewing machine or embroidery hoop, a garment sewist, an art quilter, a modern quilter through-and-through, or someone whose imagination is sparked by unusual fabrics from all over the world, Cate’s Sew Modern has the goods, the classes, the expertise and the warm welcome waiting for you!
